We go out for a week to go around the immense Tronador crossing the Andes and returning home. We cross to Chile between trekking & packraft where we will discover the depths of the valdivian jungle with its hot springs, and we raft down the Blanco river until we meet the Todos los Santos lake. We meet the locals, share some food togheter and the cross the mountain range again returning to Pampa Linda (Argentina) in a 7 – day expedition: Double crossing of the Andes.

Food in the mountains
We recommend packing your snacks of choice for those long days in the mountains. Same goes for your favorite beverages. Eating well is key for keeping your strength up out in the wild. And to cope with the loss of appetite, the best you can have is a wide variety of food at your disposal, from sweet to sour and salty. Carrying at least 2 liters if water is essential.
Accommodation during the trip
During our expedition we will camp most of the days. Once we are at Todos Los Santos Lake, we stay in cabins with the locals. On the Argentinean side again, we´ll spend a night at Agostino Rocca hut. There you will find all main services. The place offers a USB charging station, restrooms and other amenities.
